How do I install a custom image on my server?

TABLE OF CONTENTS

What is a Custom Image?

A Custom Image is an operating system image file that you can upload and use on your VPS or VDS.

Custom Images are useful if you want to run a specific operating system (OS) that is not provided by Contabo by default. By uploading your own image, you can install and configure your preferred operating system on your server.

⚠️ Please note: Windows operating systems are already provided by Contabo. Using your own Windows license may lead to restrictions or limited functionality.

  3. Click Order Custom Image.
  4. Review the pricing information and click Order and Pay to activate the add-on.
