Can I install Software onto my Webspace Package?

It is not possible to install Software onto a Webspace package. This is because root server access is required to install software that is not on our base panel.

For security reasons this functionality is not available for Webspace Packages - only for Dedicated Servers, Virtual Private Servers and Virtual Dedicated Servers. If you order your own Dedicated server from Contabo, you are free to install any software you want.
