Can I cancel or revoke my new Contabo product?
Yes, you can cancel or revoke your Contabo product within the first 14 days of your contract with Contabo with the following steps:
- Open the page here.
- Scroll to the bottom of the page and click the option "Submit a Ticket".
- Enter your login credentials for the Customer Control Panel.
- You should see the following window open:
- Click option C.
- You can then fill out the rest of the form with the options that are applicable to you.
To note, domains are not eligible for revocation.
What requirements do I need to meet to be eligible to revoke my order with Contabo?
To be eligible for revocation of your Contabo product you must contact the customer support team within the first 14 days of your contract with Contabo.
When you contact the support team, you'll have to confirm that you accept the loss of all the data on the server that you are canceling. To do this, you can say something like "I confirm the complete data loss of my service with the IP address ((add IP here)) and all the add-ons".
Please note that the refund can only be sent to the original payment method. If you want the refund to be credited to your Contabo customer account, please specify this when contacting the customer support team.
Furthermore, revocation is only available for private accounts, business accounts are not eligible for revocation.
I don't meet the requirements for revocation, is there anything else I can do?
Just because you are not eligible for revocation of your service doesn't mean you're not able to cancel or receive a refund on your Contabo product.
